Curves and the Captain

Okay then...today was a good day. It actually stated last night when Adam came home and we spent a nice evening together before he had to go to work. Television was good watching all evening and sleep was restful for a change. Sunny the bunny was a cuddly pussy all night and into the morning, nice...

I got online fairly early and checked emails. Had a cute note from the gal who bought the townhouse in Chantilly. They had gotten a kitten and she shared a picture of the cutie. A calico. That brought back a flood of memories about all my calico kitties throughout my life, so I shared some stories with her. A warm fuzzy. Nice notes from my sis who is putting together a photo album of our Oahu trip for gifting a special someone. Only had 40 slots, and she wanted me to pick which ones out of hundreds. Yikes, I could only narrow to 57. I knew she could handle the final 40 and she did...MOST EXCELLANTLY. My sis rocks!!

Then I read her LJ...she had a cool test on there from Tickle. You take the test to find out which character you are on Serenity??? I have no clue what that means but took it anyway. Oddly enough I am Captain Reynolds, who ever that is. Even funnier because that matches my name from marriage. Who knew?? Now I have to figure out who he is. Anyone out there know?

Tickle also had an IQ test. Well I'd never done that either so what the hell...I tried it. Lots of funny questions. Some were spatial, lots of wordy math problems. Really had those brain cells in a twitter. Took a while but I finally finished it. Results = 129. What does that mean? I surely don't know. And I'd have to spend $12.95 to find out. Man do they grab you or what!! Contemplating what to do about that...hmmmm. Maybe I'll decide that one later. Seems like there was also another test...brain is too fried to remember....another day to figure that out.

Now, after all that I went up to Carefree and scoped out CURVES. It's a place to exercise and loose inches and weight. My new doctor told me to join. What do you know...it's really cool....with an awesome view of the mountains north of where we live. I was told to bring a copy of mammogram report less than 1 year old. I did. Whoopppeee, best news yet. That piece of paper waived...YES WAIVED...the expensive front joining fee. THAT made the monthly payment work in the budget. So here goes...I'll be CURVING now. Every other day, 45 minutes or so. I have a goal weight and size to shoot for that she says will be fairly easy. A lovely employee who did all the paperwork with me showed me her results. We had similar profiles. She looks great 1 1/2 years into it. She has shed 83 lbs, and so many inches off of everywhere her old picture does not even look like her. Better looks are in my future. Healthier me is out there...I am relieved. Now I really need to learn that picture thing so I can post my progress...I will learn it!!

Off to have a salad and see what else I can get into. It's Captain Reynolds signing off!!!
